Wherein Gild Silverfist is freed from the curse of the demon Abraxas
I conjure a little statue of Abraxas and piss on it while giving him the double deuce.

In the last session the gnomes of Raer Baer succeeded in their quest and freed their patriarch from the cursed Ring of Sios.

Wherein much discussion takes place
I summon the demon with stinky cheese

In the last session there was much discussion and planning regarding the final chapter of the campaign.

Wherein the party encounters vampires bearing plot.
Yeah yeah vampire cult. What's in the scroll tube.

In the last session the party entered the ancient sealed laboratory of Halaster. Inside, they found the bodies of recently slain adventurers and battled vampires. Who may or may not have been a loose plot strand.

Wherein the party Slays Garfanglor
dragons really shouldnt be just simple meele encounters
Wherein Garfanglor's Dwarf Slaves are Freed
I turn invisible and climb in the crate.

In the last session there was lots of drunken yelling about the morals and economics of releasing a bunch of slave miners. Yoink passed gas. And an unarmed woman was clubbed in the back of her head.

Wherein the party bugs out
I grab the old guy put the helm of teleportation on his head and tell him to think of the elf city

The party teleported away at sight of Garfanglor. They regrouped and teleported to the elven capitol. After meeting the gnomish diplomatic envoy to the elves the party had a discussion with Michael the Silver which led to the determination that Garfanglor was going to attack the gnome’s support structure. The epic party was rallied and they took a stand at Tern’s Roost. Garfanglor was slain.

Wherein the session ends with a cheezy cliffhanger

After an interrogation the party secured transport and stocked up on wholesale booze. Under the influence of elf liquor the party spotted Avereene and her thugs. Avereene was slain, the thugs were captured, the cops were drunkenly berated, and an elven cat was resurrected and joined the party.

Down the river some harpy river bandits were held off with magic and bravado.

The session ended with a cliff hanger as a gigantic green dragon flew overhead and ev eryone failed their save vs. dragon fear.

Wherein the party snatches the plot item and calls in backup.
Scry-Teleport-Grab-Teleport is a legitimate tactic.

Last session the party used the ol’ teleport-grab-teleport. Like camping, it’s a legitimate tactic. Because ghosts are scary, the party decided to go to the elves for backup. They teleported to that one town to charter a barge to the capital. After raiding the brewery and having a drunken conversation with a helpful priestess the party spotted Avereene and some of her toughs in the lunch crowd. There was a chase scene and the cops were called.(!?) Avereene was apprehended by the cops and was dragged off to interrogation. The party was also “invited” to come down to the police station.

Wherein the party comes painfully close to plot.
I kick the baby.

After a magical gate split the party there was some dicking around with incorporeal undead in search of clues.

Wherein the Gnomes Acquire Hirelings and the Beginnings of a Library
OK, OK! I nock an arrow.../sigh ...and attack the darkness.

Last session saw the Gnomes of Raer Baer beset upon by an ambush. After the big communal breakfast where the epic party uses magic each morning to feed as many as possible, the party was ambushed in the crowd by a group of green skins calling themselves the Rock Viper Tribe. Led by the big orc, “”/campaigns/talowdale/characters/barrel-1" class=“wiki-content-link”>Barrel," each member of the tribe had the markings of a coral snake tattooed on their left forearm. Barrel said something about the ambush serving as their resume and when challenged retorted by saying actions speak louder than words. When it became clear that the Rock Vipers were not using lethal force, the party quickly switched to suppression magic and brought the tribe down in a quick three rounds. After being subdued the party accepted the Rock Viper’s request for employment. There was some official wrangling where Pythagos got the two bugbears that had joined the Imperial Marines reassigned to “special duty.” That night a ritual was held where the Rock Vipers swore their allegiance to their new tribe, Giant Slayers of Raer Baer, 8th platoon. With a tattoo of a big red 8 on a black background.

Later the party teleported into the dungeon to clear the last room of Hund’s Temple. A door was used as a choke point to make swift work of the skeletons inside and looting revealed, an empty box.

With only two active members, the party fell back on investigation. Grim and Neliflex spent the next day and night gumshoeing around Arconston with some assistance from Estnod and Sir Donald Oats.
